Sweet Love

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

That was the theme of this new yaoi illustration.

Perhaps many of you don’t know these characters, since they are rather new and have just a few pics in the Others galleries. These are my aztec animal boys, Xipil the ocelot and Yaotl the coyote; I’m still working on their story. I just wanted to draw some sweet yaoi this week. Damn, I need to start working again on that Tango remake as well… ._.u

Anyway, here’s a preview (the full, uncensored illustration can be viewed at the Hard Yaoi > Others gallery).

Inside a thick forest, they escape…

This illustration took me more than two weeks to finish! I kid you not…

Today I found the will to finish this thing. From the very beginning it promised to be a complicated picture, but I’m very proud of the final result. The background of the forest took me 1 entire day to finish (altho days before I was studying forest photographs so I could paint a decent looking forest <.<; ). Why the “easiest” part of the illustration –coloring the characters, took me more than two weeks to finish, is beyong my comprehension.

Anyway, here it is. Hope you like it :)

Playing with markers

Trying other stuff for a change… and to not let my watercolor markers just dry without using them. So I randomly drew my ocelot boy here, in hopes to get some motivation to start drafting this story I have in mind. Hope you enjoy the simple drawing ;)

Animal boys meet Mayan culture

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

Man, I wanted to finish this one already!

It started with a random sketch last week, and while I gave it multiple revisions, I decided to add something that will make it look hopefully different from what I am used to draw. Mayan culture. Mayan jewelry was fun to draw, but a pain to color! Anyway, I’m happy with this one, is one of my best illustrations this year.

Coyotl huan Ocelotl

At first I was just meaning to draw two kittyboys, but I thought it would be more fun to draw a feline and a canid sharing some quality time. An ocelot and a coyote were very appropriate of the Mayan thematic since they both are animals found in South America, but very neglected too. I even did some research, can you imagine??

I hope you enjoy this one ^_~
