I’ve finally uploaded the first part of a recording I did while painting an illustration. It’s a speedpaint of how I achieve a backlight shading effect. It is by no means a full tutorial, but I do include comments and some tips. So, without further ado, here’s the vid:

One of those random sketches I do that are actually finished. This is pretty rare nowadays… I must fix that! 
Eiji looks very peaceful in here. I see some bruises here and there. Could he have been in some sort of fight? Eiji likes to get in trouble I guess… luckily he’s got Kenji to tend to his injuries (and other needs as well 
). The coloring is something that took me a while, but was worth the time. I didn’t want it to look plain, so I tried my hand at backlighting coloring. This was of course painted with Corel Painter 12 
Added a few textures and effects in Photoshop CS5 later. I think I like it 
I’m finally inspired!
To celebrate, I managed to finish this manga style illustration of a popular couple of mine. Kenji looks so very delighted into pleasing his lovely partner. It is always fun to draw Eiji’s pleasurable expressions too
I wanna draw some hard yaoi… hopefully soon…
