The end is near!

One sign is my slow updates… sorry! 

Here’s a few pics I managed to finish in these holidays. The first one is another Scout fanart… man, I need my TF2 dose soon or I’ll die. Stupid, slow laptop. Anyway, I used the Scout’s new costume for the holidays… “Santa’s Little Accomplice”. Yeaaaah!

My next one is something really out of the ordinary. Was inspired this time by my faithful (doubtful) companion, Aiko, my female Akita dog. I like to draw girls sometimes too. Unusually random by the way…

I also wanna take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year, and I hope you had a nice Christmas with your loved ones

Hi ya’ll.

I’ve finally uploaded the first part of a recording I did while painting an illustration. It’s a speedpaint of how I achieve a backlight shading effect. It is by no means a full tutorial, but I do include comments and some tips. So, without further ado, here’s the vid:

One of those random sketches I do that are actually finished. This is pretty rare nowadays… I must fix that! 

Eiji looks very peaceful in here. I see some bruises here and there. Could he have been in some sort of fight? Eiji likes to get in trouble I guess… luckily he’s got Kenji to tend to his injuries (and other needs as well  ). The coloring is something that took me a while, but was worth the time. I didn’t want it to look plain, so I tried my hand at backlighting coloring. This was of course painted with Corel Painter 12 

Added a few textures and effects in Photoshop CS5 later. I think I like it
